FPGA Designer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement FPGA-based hardware solutions for industrial applications

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including embedded software and electronics design experts

• Translate customer requirements into robust and efficient FPGA architectures

• Develop VHDL code, simulation environments, and verification testbenches

• Participate in schematic design and hardware validation

• Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and development processes

• Provide technical support during prototyping, testing, and deployment phases

• Document your designs and share knowledge with your teams

Skills & Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience in FPGA development, including VHDL programming

• Knowledge of FPGA simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis tools

• Experience with hardware debugging, validation, and prototyping

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

• Good collaboration and communication skills in English

• Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware/software co-design is a plus

• Curiosity to continuously learn and develop your skills

This role is permanent, full-time role and located in Tampere. The position requires eligibility to pass a basic security clearance.

Our recruitment process includes one or two interviews, during which we discuss both technical and work personality-related topics. In some cases, we also use small technical assignments. The interviews are usually conducted via Teams and take approximately 1,5 hours.
